Dr. Adams

Dr. Eric A. Adams attended the University of Notre Dame where he received a Bachelor of Science degree in Pre-Medical Studies in 1987. His medical school education was at the University of Alabama, and he graduated in 1991. After a general internship at Crozer-Chester Medical Center in Pennsylvania, he went on to the University of Pittsburgh for his ophthalmology residency. He finished his formal training there in 1995. Since then he has been in private practice with Medical & Surgical Eye Specialists. His professional interests include cataract surgery, glaucoma management, treatment of diabetic eye disorders and laser refractive procedures.

Dr. Adams is certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology. He is also a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, the Virginia Society of Ophthalmology, and the Medical Society of Virginia. Dr. Adams is on the community faculty for the Department of Ophthalmology at the Medical College of Hampton Roads and Eastern Virginia Medical School.

He currently resides in Chesapeake. He is married and has two daughters.
